µKORAD3D

3D-Shape GmbH presents µKORAD3D, a flexible and robust optical 3D measurement system for micro-scopic applications.
User-friendly interfaces enable simple use:
· Direct control via laptop
· Remote control via DCOM interface
· Application in the laboratory and on the pro-duction line

Measurement principle

The measurement procedure is based on the princi-ple of white-light interferometry and allows a full-area surface measurement with a measurement uncertainty down to the nanometer range.


 
Applications

µKORAD3D can be used for random sampling applications and for 100% quality control on the production line. In contrast to touch-probe measurement systems, not only a profile line, but also an entire area is available for evaluations.

- Measurement speed: up to 30 µm/s
- Lateral field of view: 0,2-2,5 mm²
- Lateral resolution (depending on field of view): 0,2-3 µm
- Longitudinal measurement range: up to 300 µm
- Measurement uncertainty: down to the nm range
- Software: SoftKORAD3D (controllable via DCOM interface)



 
Measurement Examples

Bumps The example on the left illustrates the measurement of a component from the electronics industry. Sur-face parameters, such as diameter and height, can be calculated from the measurements.

On the metal surface with milling grooves displayed on the right, the roughness parameters Ra, Rz, ... can be determined along profile lines. Furthermore, the 3D roughness parameters Sa, Sz, ... can be calculated
